Alexandria Banning

Early Childhood Special Educator

Alexandria graduated with her bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies at Colorado State University in 2018. She then went on to the University of Denver and received her master's degree in Early Childhood Special Education 0-8. Alexandria has worked in school and center settings. After a few years of working with children with disabilities, she found her passion for early intervention in her graduate program. Alexandria has experience with different populations such as autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, visual impairments, intellectual disability, down syndrome, and apraxia of speech. Alexandria feels it's important to meet children where they are and help them reach their potential by following their lead.

Outside of work, Alexandria enjoys spending time with her dog Tucker, hiking, trying new restaurants, yoga sculpt, and traveling.
