Mackenzie Felbab
MS ESCE

Early Childhood Special Educator

Mackenzie received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education from Northern Arizona University in 2017. From there, she worked as an elementary school special education teacher in Arizona and Hawaii for four years. After working as the special education teacher in a Head Start classroom, Mackenzie fell in love with the age group. More specifically, this experience solidified a passion for working with young children on the Autism spectrum and teaching social communication skills. This led her to pursue a post-baccalaureate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Pacific University as well as a Master’s degree in Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Oregon. In her free time, Mackenzie enjoys cuddling with her cat, playing music, backpacking and hiking, traveling, and rock climbing.
